The Allergy and Asthma Center has been serving patients for the last eighteen years at three different locations. In addition to providing expert medical care, we understand the frightening feelings that often accompany asthma. Our staff has a strong commitment to treating each patient with individualized care that addresses personal, medical, emotional and physical needs.
Our goals with each patient are to achieve and maintain optimal control of symptoms, maintain normal activity levels, prevent asthma exacerbations, avoid adverse effects from medications, and prevent the development of irreversible lung damage that can occur with asthma. We strongly believe that with proper education and skilful disease management, asthmatics can have a normal lifestyle. Patient education regarding their illness, medications and allergies is therefore a priority in our practice. |
